Sarah has served as the Operations Manager at WMS Advisors since 2019, where she oversees the systems, processes, and client‑service infrastructure that support the firm’s advisors and clients. Since entering the financial services industry in 2003, Sarah brings a strong background in workflow management and financial‑services operations, she ensures the firm runs efficiently, compliantly, and with a high standard of care.

Known for her attention to detail and collaborative leadership style, Sarah manages everything from technology enhancements to operational strategy and cross‑team coordination. Her focus is on creating a seamless experience for both clients and team members while supporting the firm’s long‑term growth.

Sarah and her husband Brian live in Powhatan, VA with their two teenage boys. Outside of work Sarah can be found at the ballfield watching the boys who play baseball year-round, at their family’s river house on the James River, cooking, watching football or reading a good book.

What is your favorite quote and why? “Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” — Mark Twain.  We all have the ability to make another person feel their best. A single gentle gesture or a few sincere words of kindness, respect, and acceptance can brighten someone’s entire day—and sometimes even change the direction of their life.

What do you enjoy most about working with clients? Working in the financial services industry allows me to build meaningful relationships while helping clients feel confident and supported in their financial decisions. I enjoy simplifying complex information, providing clarity during life’s big moments, and being a steady resource families can rely on. Knowing that my work directly contributes to someone’s long‑term goals is what makes this industry so rewarding.

My kids always make fun of me for: I am the first to admit that I am not trendy and my boys are always quick to laugh at me when I have to ask them what the latest acronym means or use slang that is out of date.
